The life saving Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI / GFI) help protect your family from serious electrical injury in wet locations around your home. About 90% of electrical fires are due to improper installation of the electrical wiring. Electrical work shouldn’t be performed by weekend warriors or DIY home owner.
These dangerous arc faults are cause by loose wire connections, weak electrical contacts, damaged or deteriorated wires and over loaded electrical extension cords. Most house fires start in the bedroom areas of a home and installing AFCI protection to the wiring is highly recommended to prevent electrical fires.
